  • Review and assign all incoming pension mail from all sources in our mail tracking system (Maxx Vault) for processing
  • Review and data enter direct deposit information, W4-P, and forward Beneficiary designation changes to the Welfare Dept.
  • Prepare QDRO request for Fund Attorney, log and email Fund Attorney for review
  • Send court-certified QDROs to Fund Attorney for final approval
  • Send DRAFT Annuity QDROs to Prudential as needed
  • Review and update Overpayment Log including the mailing of overpayment letters to Participants
  • Perform clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, phones, and scanning
  • Annual Social Security Survey project management
  • Annual retirement verification project management
  • Order and maintain department supplies
  • Withdrawal Liability maintenance
  • Support staff in assigned project-based work
  • Contact Members as needed
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by Management


  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; certification preferred
  • Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized, Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; talk and hear, in person and by telephone; use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate computers and other standard office equipment; and reach with hands or arms. The employee occasionally is required to walk and stand

Salary and Benefits:

Salary Range: $50-$53

The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills, education, and experience. The NYCDCC Benefit Funds offer a generous and competitive benefit package.
