Title: Sr. Retirement Plan Reporting & Testing
Location: Remote - USA only
Get To Know The Team: Responsible for compliance testing and reporting on larger and more
complex Retirement Plans. Completes year-end and mid-year non-discrimination testing for clients as required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to ensure compliance. Prepares all IRS & DOL (EBSA) required
reports. Assists with reviewing prior compliance testing results and fillings of sales prospects for potential compliance related issues and makes recommendations. Performs quality control (QC) for the team. This senior level role
requires ERISA and in-depth testing knowledge of 410(b), 415, Actual Deferral Percentage/Actual Contribution Percentage (ADP/ACP) and 401)a)(4).

What You Will Get To
Do:
- Performs ADP/ACP, 415, Top Heavy, and Coverage Testing on all types of retirement plans to ensure non-discrimination in a timely manner with exceptional quality.
- Interprets and explains test results; communicates with
internal groups and external clients as necessary.
- Prepares Form 5500 and related schedules for all plans in a timely manner with exceptional quality.
- Performs Quality Control (QC) function for the team.
- Keeps abreast of Federal
legislation affecting defined contribution plans. Provides consultation and advice regarding reporting and testing matters to Defined Contributions management, client relationship staff and clients directly.
- Assists Plan Design team with
reviewing prior compliance testing results and Form 5500 filings of sales prospects for potential compliance related issues and makes recommendations.
- Provides guidance and training to less-experienced testing analysts.
- Participates in the
review and development of new testing and administrative procedures.
The Impact You Will Make:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 3-5 years of
retirement services compliance testing experience
- Full knowledge of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) regulations affecting defined contribution plans, including compliance testing and required Form 5500
filings.
- Systems knowledge such as; TRAC, AWD, Databases, and overall PC skills.
- Analytical skills are required in order to evaluate and interpret plan design and procedures. Must be able to review numerous plans and legal specifications to
ensure compliance.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to anticipate problems and recommend solutions.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing in order to explain complex compliance
issues. Ability to make presentations and address client audiences in a confident and persuasive manner.
- Planning and organization skills are critical in order to keep track of numerous plans and their respective compliance
deadlines.
California, New York, & Jersey City, NJ:
- Salary Range for Position is expected between $90,000 and $110,000. The successful candidate may be eligible or an annual discretionary
incentive compensation award.
Colorado & Washington:
- Salary range for the Position is expected between $90,000 and $110,000. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary
incentive compensation award.
