The Title: Retirement Plan Onboarding Coordinator

The Description: The Finway Group is a Third-Party Administration (TPA) firm specializing in 401(k) plan administration, compliance, and consulting for retirement plans. Due to significant company growth, we are seeking a team member that has experience and knowledge in the 401(k) industry with a drive to leave corporate America.  

The Experience: Do you have experience reading/interpreting plan documents for 401(k) plans ?  If so, The Finway Group may be a perfect fit for you!

The Why:

• 100% of premiums covered for employee health, dental, life, short term disability, and $1,200 HSA contribution per year
• 3% company contribution to 401(k) and Cash Balance plan
• 15 days PTO with increasing amount with tenure and 6 paid holidays, plus 2 floating holidays
• Remote location can be offered if not in the Des Moines area
• Bonus program with target of 8% of compensation

Responsibilities:

• Handle the installation of defined contribution retirement plans including start-up and conversion plans.
• Build plan documents on ft william software after plan design discussions 
• Manage relationship with executive contacts of plan sponsors, financial advisors and third party record-keepers throughout the installation process
• Verify wires received and provide allocation instructions to new fund line-up
• Ensure the successful hand-off from Sales to Administration after the conversion is complete

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience in the conversions/transitions of Defined Contribution 401(k) plans
• Experience with drafting retirement plan documents
