Great Lakes Pension Associates, Inc. is once again looking to expand our talented staff with quality individuals.  With over 600 plans and adding new plans every year, there are ample opportunities for well experienced individuals.  We prefer individuals who have attained designations with the American Society of Pension Professionals.  Experience working for a third party administrative firm (TPA) is also highly preferred.

Great Lakes Pension Associates, Inc. is seeking a Sales Consultant to play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our company through the sales of qualified retirement plan administration. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Great Lakes Pension Associates, Inc. building strong relationships with financial advisors, product wholesalers, CPAs, and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors to tailor retirement plan solutions that align with the specific goals and needs of the client.
  • Demonstrate expertise in ERISA, IRS and DOL regulations to ensure compliance and offer expert guidance.
  • Effectively communicate the advantages of retirement plans to prospective clients in a clear and understandable manner through illustrations and proposals.
  • Organize and manage your responsibilities efficiently to maximize productivity.
  • Cultivate and maintain enduring partnerships with financial advisors, wholesalers, and CPAs, fostering a network of trust and collaboration.


  • Proven experience in sales within the qualified retirement plan industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of IRS/DOL regulations related to retirement plans.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and exceed expectations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain long-lasting relationships with financial advisors, wholesalers, and CPAs.
