We are currently seeking full-time 401(k) Retirement Plan Administrators to join our growing TPA firm.
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. This position can be either
in-office, remote or hybrid.
The ideal candidate will:
- Currently hold or be seeking their QKA Designation
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience with 401(k) retirement plans, preferably in a TPA
environment
- Have 1-2 years of accounting experience is a plus
- Have strong Excel and other Microsoft skills
- Have strong knowledge of various Recordkeeping platforms
- Thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure
environment
Job Responsibilities include:
- Provide superior customer service, including problem solving with minimal inconvenience to clients
- Work both independently and collaboratively with team members and
managers
- Partner and communicate effectively with plan sponsors, auditors, actuaries, and financial advisors
- Be a resource for compliance research and recommendations
- Stay current with ERISA laws through self-study and
company-sponsored training sessions
- Assist with project development & metrics reporting within Pension Pro
- Administer an assigned book of plans to include reviewing and reconciling plan activity and assets and prepare Form 5500;
coordinate with plan sponsor to help ensure timely filing
- Collect data timely and efficiently
- Prepare and run annual compliance tests and report packages
- Calculate profit sharing allocations
- Review reports from numerous
recordkeeping platforms for reconciliation
- Assist Sales & Administration teams with plan design questions/recommendations
- May manage special projects as assigned
- Work independently with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and
Adobe PDFs
- Work independently with Relius, ftwilliam.com and PensionPro
- Be a team player
- Have knowledge and experience of various recordkeeping sites
- Possess strong time management and organizational skills
- Possess
good interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
- Possess good reconciliation skills and strong problem-solving skills
- Be capable of multi-tasking, while maintaining focus and attention to details

Annual Salary Range (based on experience): $50,000 - $75,000 plus Discretionary Bonus
