Job description
Provide annual plan administration services and technical compliance support to employers who sponsor qualified retirement plans, within performance standards and service objectives. Including in-depth
understanding of the complexities of all facets of administering qualified retirement plans. This position is remote/hybrid.
The headquarters is in St. Louis, Missouri and we have employees who work remotely from Arizona, Illinois,
Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas.
Experience/Skills
- 10+ years’ experience in annual administration of qualified retirement plans
- Handle caseload of various types of qualified
retirement plans
- Interpret complex plan documents and code provisions
- Hands on non-discrimination compliance testing
- Government form preparation and filing experience
- Strong working knowledge of accounting and investment
principles
- Reconciliation of plan investments
- Calculate contributions for corporate and self-employed business entities
- Manage and administer Employee Benefit Audit Level clients
- Build effective and productive relationships
with clients and key advisors
- Maintain on-going client relationships
- Receptive to feedback
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of new business as needed
- Identify and act on
cross-selling opportunities
- Assist in the delivery of client consulting engagements
- Manage time budget at a high level
- Continued education through seminars, training, industry certifications

- Analytical and technical, organized, and methodical
- Able to research, problem solve and use critical thinking skills
- Leadership, soft-skills and in-charge training
- Ability to work in a team
environment, under pressure, meet deadlines, handle large volume of diverse work
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Preferred Systems and Education
- Working knowledge of Datair Record Keeping
System
- Working knowledge of FT Williams
- Working knowledge of PensionPro
- Plan design knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Financial discipline or equivalent experience
- Industry certification(s) recognized by
NIPA and ASPPA
