Job Summary 

Leverages retirement industry knowledge and PAi product expertise to assist prospects and customers in achieving retirement through 401(k) plan sales and investment education.

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual team and individual sales goals and metrics 
  • Ensures various tasks including, but not limited to, daily, weekly and monthly reporting, are completed accurately and timely 
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with referral partners while prospecting clients, making proactive sales calls, attending partner conferences and comparing competitor offerings to ensure best fit and acquire new business 
  • Answers inbound sales calls regarding PAi products, service and investment offerings, effectively communicating with potential clients to identify needs in order to close sales quickly utilizing provided sales training and procedures 
  • Assists plan participants, post-sale, with investment education enabling them to make appropriate decisions for their individual needs 
  • Works through sales leads with limited detail and direction and conducts appropriate follow-up activity to support the partner needs, maintain relationships, train, educate and drive sales 
  • Uses CRM to track sales activity and prioritize follow up tasks 
  • Makes dependable judgements concerning issues and serves as go-to person for escalated calls 
  • Participates in initiatives, maintains documentation and disseminates content related, but not limited to new product development, process and procedure improvements, marketing, training, mentoring and PAi’s overall mission 
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the product portfolio features and benefits and sells solutions 
  • Offers and conducts presentations via phone, webinar and at times in person for company partners and clients 
  • Seeks knowledge for continuous improvement related to industry changes, market trends and product offerings and provides education and feedback to clients, partners and team members 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • College degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 2+ years of financial services industry experience OR 3+ years of proven sales experience
  • Accountable with excellent customer service skills 
  • Detail oriented, with strong analytical, problem resolution and mathematical abilities 
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of financial services industry experience 
  • 3 years of investment industry experience 
  • Industry related certification such as CPFA, AIF, CPRC or equivalent 

The national average salary range for this role is $45-65K in base pay, exclusive of any bonuses and benefits. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salary offered will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, performance, and internal pay alignment. We do not anticipate that candidates hired will begin at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis. For all virtual remote positions, in order to ensure associates can effectively perform their job duties with no distractions, we require an uninterrupted virtual work space and there is also an expectation of family care being in place during business hours.
