Administrator/Consultant (DC and DB)

TPA Professionals

in Remote

Reputable TPA with multiple needs due to continued growth. Actively interviewing for both back office and full service (A-Z + client facing) needs.


  • Managing all facets of A-Z administration and annual compliance on a manageable caseload of qualified plans including Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, and Cash Balance
  • Perform valuations for defined benefit (including cash balance) and profit sharing (including 401k) plans
  • Determination of plan eligibility, benefit or contribution levels, optimum and maximum tax-deductible amounts
  • Performing annual testing to meet requirements for IRS/DOL coverage and non-discrimination requirements
  • Preparation of annual IRS/DOL Form 5500 reports and related schedules
  • Preparation and review of participant distribution and loan packages as needed
  • Response to consulting and administrative questions from clients


  • Minimum of 3+ testing cycles in a TPA environment
  • Interpret plan documents
  • Extensive knowledge of ERISA, IRS & DOL regulations
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • ASPPA designations a plus or be willing to obtain designations
  • Non-proprietary industry software experience for administration and documents (Relius, ASC, FT Williams, Datair)
  • CRM database
