Quality Assurance Manager

If so, Bates & Company has the position for you. We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Manager, who prides themselves in their ability to pay attention to details and catch oversights
This is a remote position that allows you to work independently from home, part-time, with flexible hours.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review contribution calculations and non-discrimination testing (ADP/ACP, 401(a)4, 410(b))
- Review annual valuations, which includes, IRS form 5500, financials, contributions, account balance statements, non-discrimination testing, participant statements, and safe harbor compliance
- Interpret plan documents
- Review of prepared distribution and loans
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in retirement plan administration and testing
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code and Regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Organized, with strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, proficient with numbers and basic calculations
- High level of critical thinking
- Knowledge of ASCi DGEM Documents, PensionPal and Datair PE WIN a plus
- Accounting degree or mathematics degree preferred
