Retirement Plan Administrator

What we are looking for: This is a special opportunity to become a member of a long established company with fresh procedures and new technology. We are seeking pension professionals with 2 to 5 years’ experience in the retirement plan industry and a familiarity with the various aspects of plan administration, including trust accounting, compliance testing, contribution allocations, preparation of Form 5500 and participant disclosures.

The applicant must possess and effectively demonstrate the following:

• Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Aptitude toward math and accounting

Job Description: The primary job duty encompasses all aspects of 401(k) Plan administration for a block of 80 – 120 clients. Our main focus is client communication. Leading clients through the annual cycle of collecting and processing their data. Working with team members, helping to foster a positive team environment. While we have a consulting actuary, our administrators are trained to handle the client support for our combination 401(k) and cash balance or traditional defined benefit plans.

Systems Experience: Although administration systems can be trained, they each have their own rules and distinctions. We use ASC for our defined contribution administration, Wolters Kluwer/ft. William for forms and PensionPro for our CRM. Experience with these systems is a plus.
