Retirement Plan Data Analyst (Seasonal)

We are currently seeking a Retirement Plan Data Analyst to join our Team in a Seasonal/Part-Time Capacity.

Position summary:

This seasonal/part-time position is responsible for seasonal high volume projects such as census scrubbing, trust accounting, contribution calculations, ADP/ACP testing and general non-discrimination testing. This position will not be assigned a dedicated client case load.

General purpose:

Deliver Third Party Administrative services to retirement plan sponsors in compliance with IRS and DOL regulations.

Role qualifications:

  • 5+ years plan administration experience.
  • Working knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations.
  • Proficient MS Office skills and computer skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Relius plan administration software.
  • Knowledge of all types of retirement plans.

Position responsibilities:

  • Census exports
  • Census import and cleanup
  • Late deferral calculations
  • Brokerage trust accounting
  • Special projects from the team leader to aid in the completion of the annual valuation
  • Perform testing (includes, but not limited to ADP/ACP testing and general Non-Discrimination Class Allocation / Cross Testing, Coverage Testing, Last Day Testing, Compensation Exclusion, Top Heavy).
  • Review of plan contribution activity and plan assets and annual reconciliation of plan loans and assets.
  • Contribution calculations and projections
  • Form 5330 preparation, and calculation of earnings on late deposits.
  • Calculates excess contributions (415 Limit and ADP/ACP).
  • Assembling annual valuation reports for client delivery

  • Bachelor's degree
