Who We Are and What We Do

Compass Retirement Consulting Group and Compass 360 are third-party administrators (TPA) that provide client companies with retirement plan design, administration, actuarial services, and ongoing consulting services to ensure our clients’ plans are in compliance with DOL, ERISA, IRS, and other regulations. Our headquarters are in Stratham, NH, but our clients are nationwide in various industries and sizes. We are passionate about the use of technology and are always looking for more streamlined ways to perform tasks.

What You Will Do

The Retirement Plan Administrator position will work behind the scenes with an assigned book of business to perform annual testing, asset valuations, calculations, and complete required filings. This will require that you work with Relationship Managers, financial advisors, and CPAs.    

Specific tasks include:

  • correct errors and late deferrals as needed
  • complete excess distribution forms for clients and follow up with clients and vendors as necessary to ensure the corrections were made
  • review plan documents and service agreements for new clients and upload required information into software.  
  • calculate employer contributions and true-up contributions accurately and timely
  • perform projections, tests, and calculations
  • upload vesting information to vendor websites to ensure accuracy
  • create plan termination packages and follow through on the required steps
  • identify RMD-eligible participants and mandatory force-out distributions

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for talented individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who can manage full-cycle plan administration for an assigned book of business. Attention to detail, flexibility, the willingness to learn, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively are key attributes we look for in all our employees. We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of related TPA experience. Those with Datair, Pension Pro, or FT Williams software knowledge are preferred.
