Summary / Objective

Work directly with clients, provide high level analysis, and responsible for final technical review of client deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary client relationship manager, including ongoing communication, meeting attendance and presentations participation
  • Project management, overseeing multiple consulting projects
  • Assist with strategy, idea sharing, and problem resolution
  • Oversee necessary calculations or analysis on special projects
  • Prepare and monitor annual project budgets and client invoicing
  • Oversee the annual valuation process, funding valuations, accounting results, and government forms
  • Serve as resource / subject matter expert to internal and external clients
  • Lead business development efforts, including RFP responses, conference attendance, develop and maintain a professional business network
  • Maintain professional credentials and mentor students on progression toward credentials

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in math, actuarial science, or other related field
  • ASA / EA required, FSA preferred
  • 15+ years of pension consulting, project management and staff management experience
  • Strong communication skills, including client consulting and presentations
