Heritage Pension Advisors is a full-service Third Party Administration firm located in Commack, New York.   We are currently looking for an individual who enjoys being part of a great team, takes a real sense of pride in their work, is a great communicator with clients, and is looking to grow professionally.  We are looking for a candidate that is willing to come into our office in Commack, NY several days a week.  We believe working as a team helps all parties involved and provides a better experience for our clients.  

Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation and maintenance of Plan Document
  • Data collection
  • Employee census review/eligibility calculations
  • Nondiscrimination; Top-Heavy; Coverage testing
  • Contribution calculation and allocation work
  • Trust accounting and reconciliation
  • Loan and distribution processing
  • Form 5500 preparation
  • RMD; QDRO review/calculations
  • Form 1099-r / 945 preparation
  • Client consultation and review

Position Requirements:

  • 3+ years of retirement plan administration experience
  • Proficiency FT Williams a plus
  • Ability to work independently with management review and support
  • Deadline-oriented with excellent time management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, financial advisors, and record-keepers
  • A high degree of organization and attention to detail
