We are an actuarial and retirement plan administration firm, serving primarily medium sized employers.  We work with business owners and their advisors to design, implement and administer all types of retirement plans including Defined Benefit plans, Cash Balance Plans and 401(k) Profit Sharing Plans. 

We currently have openings for DC Plan Administrators.  Qualified candidates will be dependable, multi-taskers who possess excellent communication, organization and computer skills with the ability to work independently, in a team-oriented environment. 2-5 years of hands on experience in 401(k) plan administration required.  

Upon completion of initial training, you will manage a designated block of plans providing full client service clients and their advisors, including day to day communications and management of workflow deadlines.  If you are looking for a long-term career, this is the place for you.  

This is currently a work remote position. 

Position Responsibilities: 

• Maintain caseload of 90+ plans with 401(k) Profit Sharing plans
• Cultivate existing client relationship with clients and their advisors
• Prepare Form 5500 and other governmental related forms
• Compliance testing to include ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing
• Trust Reconciliation in a variety form of plan assets
• Review participant loan and distribution requests
• Track plan terminations thru final liquidation
• Tack and meet DOL & IRS required compliance/5500 imposed deadlines

Key Abilities: 

• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Knowledge in ASC, FTW and PensionPro a plus
• Ability to interpret plan document provisions
• Superior organizational skills
• Desire to further credentials with ASPPA or NIPA
• College Degree
