Qualified Retirement Plan Consulting and Administration

We are looking for a motivated Defined Contribution TPA Administrator.

The Retirement Plan Consultant will provide annual plan administration services and technical compliance support to employers who sponsor qualified retirement plans within performance standards and service objectives, including an in-depth understanding of the complexities of all facets of administering qualified retirement plans. Levy & Associates works collaboratively with support from other ASPPA credentialed consultants. Levy & Associates pays for In-House Training, Technical Training Webinars, ASPPA/NAPA Dues, and Continuing Education fees.

Competitive Salary & Benefits including 3% Safe Harbor with 50% match of 6%.

This position is available in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office or remote.

Essential Functions

  • Manage a caseload of Profit Sharing and 401(k) plans, including: preparing reconciliation of plan investments to the plan valuation report, calculating contributions for corporate and self-employed business entities, preparing, and analyzing compliance testing results, prepare and analyze government filing requirements, interacting with external clients/advisors/vendors. 403(b) Experience a plus.

Our ideal candidate should be able to hit the ground running on day one. We will train you on basic internal procedures, assign you cases and let you get to work.

Desired Experience and Skills

  • 3+ years experience in annual administration of qualified DC/401(k) plans
  • Hands-on non-discrimination compliance testing and government form preparation and filing experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment, under pressure, meet deadlines, handle a large volume of assorted work
  • High level of PC skills; working knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing applications, vendor systems and record keeping systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communications, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficient with all aspects of IRS compliance testing (ADP/ACP; coverage testing and 401(a)(4) solving)
  • Proficient in 5500 preparation and applicable schedules and review
  • Familiarity working with daily valued platforms and pooled Trustee directed accounts

Basic Job Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of FT Williams preferred other pension valuation system helpful
  • Pension Designation from ASPPA and /or NIPA preferred; and
  • 3 years of traditional TPA Administrator (DC) experience.
