ESOP Retirement Plan Manager

Join a team that is growing!   OneAmerica is recruiting for an Retirement Plan Manager with ESOP experience.  This is a remote position.

In this position you are responsible for the day-to-day plan administration of retirement plans. You are client-facing and serve as the primary resource for the day-to-day contact for the customer’s retirement plan.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain client relationships (internal and external).
  • Retain an assigned book of business or work on a team servicing a pooled group of retirement plans.
  • Effectively interpret complex plan provisions and ensure systems are programmed in compliance with the legal plan document provisions and operating in accordance with the IRS and DOL regulations.
  • Ensure all regulatory deadlines are met timely.
  • Collaborate with and provide support to internal and external key stakeholders to service clients needs.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation in process.
  • Review reports for accuracy and proactively consult with clients to enhance the administration of the retirement plan.
  • SME and go-to-person for team and other stakeholders
  • Expected to attend in-person virtual client meetings when appropriate
  • Expected to participate in in-person/virtual meetings, RFPs, Sales Finals, etc.
  • Able to work independently and able to solve problems with little or no direction or oversight from leadership
  • Able to leads projects and have project ownership
  • Consistently delivers accurate results

Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years related experience and industry designation (QKA, QPA, APA)

Required Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration in a daily environment, TPA or Advisor Firm.
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

As a condition of employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who receive a job offer on or after April 18, 2022 provide evidence of full or partial vaccination against COVID-19 within three days of accepting an offer letter with OneAmerica and before employment begins. If applicable, new hires must submit proof that they have received the second dose of a two dose COVID-19 vaccine within 30 days after their first dose is complete. This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in IN as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
