Red Bank Pension Services, Inc. is a growing TPA firm providing consulting and administrative services to qualified retirement plan sponsors for over 30 years.  We are seeking a Defined Contribution Specialist to add to our team.  This position is full time with an assigned caseload.  This position will require good client and customer service skills as there will be a significant amount of contact with clients.

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Annual Valuation Reports
  • Annual contribution computations, including new comparability
  • Collecting and analyzing employee census information
  • Determination of eligibility and vesting
  • Nondiscrimination coverage and top heavy testing
  • Trust Accounting / Asset Reconciliation
  • Review/processing of participant loans and distributions
  • Preparation of 5500, 5330 and 8955 Forms
  • Calculate Required Minimum Distributions
  • Communicating with clients via telephone and email correspondence
  • Prepare audit packages and work with CPAs during annual tax form audits for large plans
  • Establish and Maintain Plan Document including amendments, restatements, notices, SPD, SMM, etc.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in Defined Contribution Administration
  • Proficient with Relius
  • Knowledge of ERISA, DOL and IRS regulations
  • Ability to multi-task, accuracy, dependability, sense of integrity, and self-motivated
  • Ability to meet deadlines timely
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
