Pollard & Associates is a 50-year old pension firm located in Hunt Valley, Maryland.  We have been in a growth mode for over a decade and continue to look for both experienced and entry level positions to add to our staff.  This posting is for an experienced 401(k)/DC Administrator with a minimum of 3 years experience in the retirement field.  This position can be done either remotely or in our Hunt Valley office.  We are seeking an experienced 401(k)/DC Administrator who will be responsible for complete administration of a caseload of plans.

Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, reliable, and a professional team member. The responsibilities of this individual will include but not limited to the following:

  • Ability to handle a caseload of 60-80 small to medium size clients with daily client contact
  • Manipulation of employee data
  • Completing the Annual Valuation Reports including the Form 5500
  • Ability to read and understand plan documents
  • Performing all annual testing including ADP/ACP test, coverage tests & top heavy tests, etc.
  • Contribution calculations including knowledge of cross testing design and applicable testing
  • Proficient with Excel is required
  • Overall technical familiarity with plan rules including distributions, loans, hardships, etc.

Attention to detail, great communication skills, organization & time management skills are all essential to success in this position.  Experience with FTW Compliance software a plus.    Would consider training an experienced user from other various software systems such as Relius, ASC, etc. on the FTW Compliance system.  ASPPA certifications a plus but not required.  Salary will be determined based the individual’s experience and ability to fulfill the needs of the position.
