Senior New Business Analyst

Employee Fiduciary, LLC is a professional services firm experiencing rapid growth. Our company has been profiled in Money magazine and is a leading provider of low-cost 401(k) plans to small and mid-sized businesses.

Employee Fiduciary is currently seeking a Senior New Business Analyst for our New Business department. Our New Business Department establishes new clients on the Employee Fiduciary systems. 

Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation). 

  • Primary contact for plan sponsors, prior providers, advisors and TPAs
  • Responds to client inquires within stated service standards
  • Provides plan design assistance, coordinates plan design studies with Compliance Analyst and Client
  • Establishes and manages blackout periods and transfer of assets
  • Manages the completion of implementation work within stated service standards
  • Reviews work completed by New Business Analyst including:
    • Establishing account and funds with custodian
    • Entering plan specification in Relius Administration and Pension Pal database
    • Preparation of enrollment materials
    • Entry of conversion data into Relius Administration
  • Trains and mentors New Business Analyst
  • Conducts website/payroll training with client
  • Ensures all required new business documentation is saved to network according to department standards
  • Timely escalates inquiries or issues to the appropriate parties when necessary
  • Maintains a working knowledge of qualified plan regulations and Employee Fiduciary procedures

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: (these are required to enable job holder to perform the essential functions of the job).

  • A strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software with advanced knowledge in Excel
  • An expert understanding of department processes, procedures and standards
  • Ability to interact cordially and productively with all company employees
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with, and among employees
  • Effective communications skills with ability to handle difficult people or situations

Experience and Education Requirements:

Accounting or finance degree preferred.  Three years related work experience and accounting classes may be substituted for degree.  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.  Prior experience with Relius Administration or similar software is a plus.
