Job Summary

Responsible for performing multiple correction functions in a daily valuation retirement plan environment

Job Accountability

  • Monitor incoming correction requests and review within 24 hours. Evaluate requests, ensure required documentation is provided, determine necessary processing, and communicate required action within required  timeframes
  • Process complex retirement account corrections from both internal and external errors. Evaluate each individual scenario and determine appropriate course of action. Process from start to finish based upon predetermined methodology and ensure completion within strict timeframe. This will involve advanced calculations, including rate of return and dividend allocation, and manipulations in Excel
  • Research and resolve correction requests, share reconciliation variances, and negative share balances
  • Process and monitor manual trades across various custodians
  • Manage escalated requests from both internal and external customers. Evaluate each individual scenario and prioritize tasks to guarantee timely resolution
  • Contact internal and external customers to resolve account issues and provide concise written, and/or oral communication regarding corrective action taken
  • Track and remit invoices to internal Billing department in relation to labor charges and/or reimbursement of prefunded corrective trade losses
  • Process and verify valuation updates for outside assets on internal recordkeeping system both on a quarterly schedule and as requested
  • Maintain updated Correction policies and procedures
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2-3 years’ experience working with retirement plans or within the finance industry required
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel
  • Ability to exercise independent, mature judgment, prioritize tasks & maintain confidentiality required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.
