Mid-level Retirement Plan Administrator
Successful candidate is responsible for quality assurance, IRS pension compliance, communication, and all related processes. Perform actuarial valuations and retirement benefit
calculations.
Job Responsibilities to include the following but not limited to:
- Providing daily support for the administration of Qualified Retirement Plans.
- Gathering data to run Contribution Reports and applicable IRS Compliance
testing.
- Performing comprehensive Trust Accounting for each plan and directing necessary processing of adjustments.
- Preparing Annual Valuation Reports, Participant Statements and 5500 Government Filings for timely
submission.
- Reviewing and preparing Plan Document Restatements and new plans for accuracy and compliance.
- Written and phone communication with clients concerning plan design and provisions.
- Coordinating Firm efforts with our
administration team and clerical staff.
- Preparing filings for specialized projects (e.g. plan audits and VCAP Compliance Work)
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Defined
Contribution and Cash Balance Defined Benefit plans.
- Proficiency with Datair or similar software.
- Preferred ASPPA Credentials.
- Strong spreadsheet, communication, and trust accounting skills along with an aptitude for numerical
analysis required. Working knowledge of Datair Administration-Windows version desirable but not necessary.
- Knowledge of principals and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality
standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years with retirement plan teams
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

Comprehension: The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
