Northern NJ firm seeks Full time or Part Time Enrolled Actuaries - Telecommute option flexibility

Required - EA, Bachelors Degree & 5-7 years DB pension experience

Salary $105 - $125+

JOB DESCRIPTION

All operational tasks associated with serving qualified DB plans including:

• Compliance with Plan, ERISA, IRC and regulations
• Preparing actuarial valuations for multiemployer & single employer plans
• Testing for 415 limits, 401(a)(17) calculations, ASC 715 financial valuations
• Completing Schedule MB, SB, Single-ER PBGC filings, Form 990 calculations
• Limited benefit calculation review / oversight
• Limited direct client contact with option to expand role
• Work with lead consultant and other in-house and outside peer review actuaries
• Work remotely and part-time in the office for staff meetings / telecommute option

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Enrolled Actuary with 5-years multiemployer experience and/or single-ER DB Pensions
• Good written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills & attention to detail
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel and experience with actuarial valuation software
• Some Health Plan experience preferred (ASC 965 post-retirement-OPEB)
