ESOP Client Service Manager

Principal

As a Client Service Manager on our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Administration team, you’ll manage and provide consultation to several key client accounts handling all aspects of their ESOP retirement plans. You’ll proactively build relationships with C-Suite executives, company owners, financial executives and HR personnel while balancing technical activities of the plans.

Here are a few examples of what you’ll do:

  • Develop a working knowledge of ESOP technical requirements to create and propose solutions to meet client needs.
  • Understand and implement key features on plan documents such as performing trust accounting, compliance testing and government reporting.
  • Take the lead on client ESOP allocations, reports, participant statements, and distribution/diversification and cash management services.
  • Communicate with clients proactively to assist with questions, plan complexity discussions, education, participant data, plan administrations procedures, etc.

Qualifications:

While we prefer those with ESOP or retirement plan design and/or administration experience, we’re willing to train highly motivated people. Candidates will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. (Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • 6+ years related business experience.
  • Strong accounting, numerical critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Open to occasional overnight travel (1-3 times per year) to participate in customer meetings may be necessary.
  • Ability to balance working independently with working in a team environment to meet customer needs and achieve overall goals.
  • Possess a strong understanding of accounting and record-keeping systems and PC applications.

Location:

Our ESOP Administration team is headquartered in Appleton, WI, with offices throughout the U.S. We are open to various locations.
