PURPOSE: The Retirement Plan Administrator will serve as a compliance resource to the organization. While demonstrating a high aptitude for analytical compliance work, this position will also be responsible for developing and
achieving performance growth standards and maintaining a culture of outstanding service.
The ideal candidate for the Retirement Plan Administrator may be considered for full-remote work, if desired.

Performs plan administration duties – including data collection, employee census analysis for eligibility, vesting, and contribution calculation
Performs compliance testing in all facets – including 401(a)4 non-discrimination.
Serves as an accessible resource for other team members.
Provides guidance, assistance, interpretation, and/or analysis of
complex or unusual case data.
Identifies solutions that are compatible with customer and organizational business needs.
Interprets and/or reviews plan documents.
Maintains positive relationship with clients by addressing questions
and concerns in a professional manner.
Conducts census review and eligibility determination, makes corrections, and/or gives training when necessary.
Performs contribution calculations for profit sharing, integration, cross-testing, safe
harbor, and discretionary match.
Coordinates corrections of any failed testing.
Responsible for asset reconciliation and trust accounting.
Responsible for document, amendment, and annual notice preparations.
May assist with
conversion and new plan setup.
Prepares and reviews Client Form 5500s.
Assists with plan audits, including a review of the audit report.
Troubleshoot any compliance issues as they arise.
Reviews work of team to ensure
consistency and accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of relevant work experience
Familiarity with Relius Software and FT William preferred
ASPAA / NIPA designations
preferred or willingness to obtain
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills
Experience working with senior decision
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
