Retirement Services 401k Processing Team Supervisor​

We are currently seeking a Retirement Services 401k Processing Team Supervisor to join our team.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supervising the Retirement Services Processing Team and ensuring accurate and timely posting of all transactions, participant loan transactions and maintenance. This position also supervises the recordkeeping and administration of all 401(k) plans sponsored by Insperity Retirement Services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under limited supervision and much decision-making:

  • Supervises Retirement Services Processing Team ensuring the timely and accurate posting of all retirement plan transactions, maintenance of all participant loans,, participant paperwork, and research and resolution of participant level discrepancies and issues.
  • Oversees user support, upgrades, testing and release of relevant technology applications.
  • Supervises the review of quarterly participant statements.
  • Processes all corporate loan requests, distributions, and researches and resolves all employee eligibility and issues/concerns related to the 401(k).
  • Manages the recordkeeping and administration of all 401(k) plans sponsored by Insperity Retirement Services in accordance with business objectives.
  • Researches and responds/resolves inquiry calls from clients and participants concerning operational issues, as well as providing information and assistance to other areas of the company.
  • Applies a working knowledge of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code and applicable regulatory guidelines in the daily management of the recordkeeping system.
  • Participates in 401(k) Retirement Services Operations area management team, including efforts to effectively manage the department in accordance with business objectives.
  • Coaches and trains staff in job related matters.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Five or more years of related experience are required. Management or leadership experience in Defined Contribution is required.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

No licenses or certifications are required. Relevant professional designations (e.g., CPC, QPA, QKA, CEBS, CPA, APA) preferred.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Thorough understanding of qualified plans, including ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and relevant regulations.
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, orally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Products, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Organizational and planning skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to multi-task are essential.
  • OMNI processing experience preferred
