The Senior Special Products Solutions Consultant serves as a consultant supporting special products applicable to all lines of business, primarily supporting Company Stock and Employer Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). Acts as a liaison between internal clients and external product providers, trustees or vendors across relevant business lines. Additionally, performs a wide variety of duties and coordination of special product tasks including training, investigation and resolution of issues, managing special projects as assigned, sales support and coordinating activities between internal departments.  Subject matter expert with knowledge related to investments, ESOPs, trust/custody, record keeping requirements, technical and legal/regulatory issues.

What you will do

  • Act as primary contact person to answer questions and resolve complex and escalated problems regarding all aspects of product and plan operations, with primary products initially being Company Stock and ESOPs.
  • Coordinate system fixes enhancements and support these unique products and services, acting as a liaison between regulatory experts and technology
  • Identify opportunities to improve plan recordkeeping and operations and coordinate resolution with client service managers and partners
  • Manage large partner relationships
  • Participate in new business sales presentations and new product launches
  • Create and maintain sites on the intranet containing resource information and education on the various products
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, reporting and service support for all products and partners
  • Train and mentor less experienced staff

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Business, Finance or related field; or equivalent related experience
  • 5 or more years financial services experience
  • Retirement plan and/or investment experience, specifically related to ESOPs and Company Stock in ERISA plans
  • Understanding operational and regulatory aspects of ESOPs, as well as technical requirements
  • Knowledge of ERISA, DOL, and applicable IRS regulations related to retirement plans and ESOPs
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • FINRA fingerprinting upon hire

What will set you apart

  • Relevant experience presenting to large groups and/or individuals
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer service, written and verbal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • FINRA Series 6 permitted, but not required
