Client Manager

Position Overview:

The Client Manager role will act as the primary contact person for an assigned base of clients.  This role is responsible for the relationship and day-to-day service with clients.  The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize workflow efficiently. 


  • Prepare & present investment review with investment committees
  • Provide and facilitate investment recommendations to clients
  • Benchmark plan design and success rates to client industry peers
  • Monitor and benchmark plan fees annually and conduct RFP’s periodically
  • Act as a liaison with clients, multiple recordkeepers, TPA’s, attorneys and auditors
  • Conduct on-site or virtual meetings with plan participants
  • Take participants calls / emails to assist with retirement and investment needs
  • Provide on-going fiduciary training to plan committees
  • Consult with clients regarding plan design and assist with plan documents
  • Identify and assist to resolve plan issues
  • Consult with clients during mergers and acquisitions
  • Monitor plan calendar deadlines and manage client fiduciary folders
  • Oversee and manage plan conversion when necessary
  • Maintain relationships with mutual fund wholesalers and recordkeepers


  • Qualified Plan experience is required
  • Working knowledge or ERISA, DOL and IRS regulations
  • License Series 6 or 65 license required
  • Team player with good communication skills and leadership ability
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
