Retirement Plan Administrator


in Colorado Springs CO

We are a third-party administration firm with 45+ years in the retirement plan industry. We are seeking an experienced Retirement Plan Administrator for our office in Colorado Springs, CO.

Candidate should be a self-motivated and energetic individual with at least three years of experience in retirement plan administration / TPA recordkeeping or related services.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide great customer service to your book of clients in an effective and timely manner
  • Interpret plan document provisions and maintain up-to-date knowledge of ERISA law and regulations
  • Determine Participant eligibility for benefits, contributions, vesting and distributions, based on the plan document provisions
  • Assist clients with meeting all IRS and Department of Labor deadlines necessary for qualified retirement plans
  • Prepare or review trust reconciliation reports with a variety of plan assets and platform providers
  • Prepare or review annual testing, including ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 415, 410(b), and 402(g)
  • Prepare or review Form 5500, and assist clients in making sure the forms are filed timely

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the retirement plan industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and good organizational habits.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to recognize issues and determine solutions; sound decision making.
  • Ability to manage incoming calls, emails and data forms from clients within a same-day, next-day turn around standard.

Compensation will be determined based on experience.
