Project Manager - Benefits Communication

BeneCom Associates provides and produces benefits communication materials to its clients and their employees. Our clients range from 100 lives to 50, 000.

Job Description

BeneCom Associates seeks a Project Manager.  This is a telecommuting position.  However, this position also demands that the employee is readily available to Skype - which is how we communicate as a group.  Both full-time and seasonal/part time applicants will be considered.  Our busiest time is from mid-August to mid-November.

The successful candidate needs to have the following credentials…

  • Experience managing production and delivery of benefits statements, open enrollment guides, and related materials.
  • Specifically, the Project Manager is the key manager coordinating communication between the client and the supporting vendors on that job.  These support vendors often include printers, designers, writers, and fulfillment houses.  The company already has a cadre of long-term vendors who are very familiar with our process and can help guide you through our process as will we.
  • Great proofing skills.
  • Data scrubbing experience. Simply put, this skill requires that in the end…the right info is sent to the right client employee.  This involves receiving Excel files on all pertinent employee information from clients and insuring that the information presented to the printers and the fulfillment houses is correct, so that no errors are made.
  • Financial aspects of the position include gathering vendor quotes.    The Project Manager will use our internal system to generate job quotes for the client.
  • We need a Project Manager who understands the critical timeframe for open enrollment from August through November.  This is our busy season and we don’t miss deadlines.
  • Be pleasant to work with, even when the hours get crazy from August through November.  You need to be available 24/7 during this time frame.  If you have done open enrollment, you know what we mean.   However, we pay well and offer a very collegial work environment.
