MGKS is an actuarial and retirement plan administration firm providing TPA services to all size of employers. We work with business owners and their advisors to design, implement, and administer primarily Defined Benefit Plans, Cash Balance Plans, and 401(k) Profit Sharing Plans. 

We are looking for an experienced, bright and self-motivated professional to join our growing Defined Contribution Team.  Our Plan Administrators provide full client services to a designated block of clients and their advisors, including day to day communication and management of workflow deadlines.  Our team is supported by our strong implementation/take-over, plan document, loan and distribution teams.  If you are looking for a long-term career with the potential for growth, this is the place for you! 

Candidates must be located in the greater Phoenix area or be in the process of relocating to the Phoenix area.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain caseload of about 90+ clients with 401(k) Profit Sharing plans
  • Cultivate existing client relationship with the client and their advisors
  • Communicate effectively with principals, clients, advisors, cpas and other professionals 
  • Knowledge/experience in compliance testing to include ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing (2+ years)
  • Prepare Form 5500 and other government forms
  • Experience with ASC, FTW & PensionPro
  • Trust Reconciliation with a variety of plan assets including platform providers, pooled assets and SDBA's
  • Able to interpret plan document provisions
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload
  • Superior organizational skills in order to meet IRS/DOL deadlines
  • Flexibility, adaptability and ability to multi-task
  • Work in a team environment to meet challenges and goals
  • Desire to further credentials with ASPPA or NIPA
  • College degree

This is a full-time position with full range of benefits, including but not limited to, employer paid medical insurance, paid time off and employer sponsored 125 and 401(k) plans.  MGKS encourages furthering your career and knowledge by covering the cost of ASPPA and NIPA credential exams.  Additionally, MGKS provides an annual continuing education budget for each administrator to cover the cost of webcasts, conferences, etc.
