Job Summary:  Growing Regional TPA firm in the Pittsburgh area searching for a Retirement Plan Analyst to handle all aspects of plan administration for a block of DC/401(k) plans.  We offer a casual work environment and flexible hours. Growth is performance driven and achieved by completing professional designations and taking on increased responsibilities.  

Responsibilities Include:  

  • Preparation of Annual Allocation/Compliance Reports, including completion of annual non-discrimination coverage and other compliance testing
  • Contribution calculation work
  • Completion of IRS Form 5500 and other governmental required filings, as needed
  • Preparation of Plan Documents using FT William software
  • Review and interpretation of plan document provisions
  • Familiarity with various recordkeeping partners to process loans; distributions; enrollments; etc. and to gather data necessary to complete compliance reporting and account reconciliation and trust accounting
  • Consultation and daily communication with plan sponsors; financial advisors; CPA's and other service providers as needed

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance; Math; Accounting or 2+ years equivalent experience
  • ASPPA QKA designation or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office -- Excel; Word
  • Strong organizational; analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Datair; FT William and Pension Pro Software helpful
  • Commitment to provide a high level of service to clients
  • Ability to work independently and with others as part of a team
