Carlson Quinn is a retirement plan consulting and TPA firm that has been delivering customized and high-touch services to clients for 25 years.  We help clients design, implement and maintain successful retirement plans that meet their needs and improve outcomes for their employees.  We are seeking a highly-motivated Senior Retirement Plan Administrator to join our team as we continue to grow our defined benefit and defined contribution business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and recordkeepers on an assigned caseload of retirement plans, working under the direction of account managers
  • Manage and perform day-to-day activities on assigned plans
  • Work with account managers to ensure client satisfaction
  • Responsible for all aspects of plan administration including, but not limited to, trust accounting, census review, eligibility determination, contribution calculations, compliance testing and corrections, 5500 and related schedules, required participant notices, distribution and loan processing
  • Provide information and schedules to auditors on audited plans
  • Work on plan conversions and de-conversions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of practical experience, with increasing responsibilities in plan administration
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Organized, with good attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal skills; customer-focused
  • Ability to multitask and work under time pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experienced with Relius administration system and FT Williams 5500 software a plus
  • Professional credentials (ASPPA, CEBS) preferred but not required
