Thompson Hine seeks an associate to join our Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation group, top ranked by Chambers in Ohio.
This position will be located in either the Cleveland or Columbus office.
The group counsels
clients on a broad range of employee benefits and executive compensation issues, including design and implementation of tax qualified retirement plans, health and welfare benefit programs and non-qualified deferred compensation plans, incentive plans and
severance pay plans. Our clients include publicly traded corporations, privately owned companies, financial institutions and a variety of tax-exempt organizations.
The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in employee
benefits, including demonstrated ability in the analysis of ERISA issues and qualified/nonqualified plan drafting. A strong work ethic and the ability to foster client relationships are also required.
