Uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to oversee and manage the day to day functions of the Operations department, specific to Retirement Contributions. Lead project
management efforts as it relates to the Contributions Retirement Teams.
Supervise the Retirement Plan Processing Contribution unit.
Ensure daily processing is balanced and traded according to
Ensure refunds are processed timely according to guidelines.
Monitor all tickets/corrections requests.
Monitor and oversee processing of all fund and cash outages.
Oversee cash flow as it pertains to retirement
Analyze procedures and processes for efficiencies.
Monitor and report area metrics and adjust priorities as volume requires.
Analyze Error & Omissions reports, identify risk and trends.
improvement & educational opportunities based off of metrics and reporting.
Assist Operations team in the plan, development and implementation of policies and procedures to achieve short and long-term goals.
Responsible for annual
appraisals, reviews and staff development.
Assist with company initiative that impact the department.
Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Required Skills / Experience:
3 or more years of
experience retirement plans/financial industry required.
Bachelors’ degree preferred.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft suite products.
Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) ASPPA designation or similar designation a
Ability to exercise independent, mature judgment, prioritize tasks & maintain confidentiality required. Proven ability to work in high pressure environment with deadlines. Possesses the ability to display a range of characteristics,
including calmness under pressure, a positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently and maintain tight schedules. Sitting, typing and computer monitor viewing for extended periods.
Occasional lifting up to 40 pounds. Must be able to type and perform repetitive key strokes.
