Pension Plan Administrator

TPA Firm in Northern New Jersey

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • All aspects of ERISA plan administration for 401(k), Profit Sharing and Defined Contribution Plans.
  • Complete plan administration including eligibility determination, preparation of financial statements, allocations of contributions/forfeitures, calculations of vesting percentages, loan and distribution calculations, and preparation of Form 5500 and all related schedules.
  • Maintain the plan's qualified status, review of plan documents, help clients resolve operational and regulatory compliance issues relating to qualified and non-qualified plans.
  • Perform nondiscrimination testing, including ADP/ACP calculations, refunds, penalties, etc.
  • Perform compliance related activities such as government filings.
  • Assist clients with both internal and external audits when needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years plan administration experience.
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulations affecting plan design and plan documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications as well as customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Word/Excel.
  • QKA/QPA ASPPA designations a plus.
