The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Police Association Retirement Plan (Plan) is seeking proposals to fill the position of Executive Director/Secretary. The Plan is a jointly administrered (Union/Management) pension trust. The
Plan provides pension benefits to certain employees of the MBTA and their beneficiaries.
The Plan is administered by a Retirement Board. The Executive Director/Secretary is the primary contact for the Plan and performs a variety of duties
including, but not limited to:
Processing of pension application for submission to the Retirement Board; Scheduling, organizing and attending monthly Retirement Board meetings; Maintenance and storage of Plan records; Preparation and/or coordination
of vairous reports; Interaction with other service providers/professionals (investment,actuarial, audit, legal)
This is a contract (fee-based) position for a term of three (3) years. The Plan does not provide salary, benefits, office space,
staffing or equipment.
